In 2017, his 'Haute Bohemians' was named the Design Book of the Year by The New York Times and is now in its 8th edition. His innovative 2019 book, 'A Wandering Eye - Travels With My Phone,' showcases travel photography exclusively shot with his iPhone. In 2023, he released 'Haute Bohemians Greece,' a tribute to his favorite homes and places across Greece.

Miguel's approach to photography highlights the 'geography' of its subjects, capturing interiors that reflect the owner's passions and the world's rich cultural diversity.

Currently, he is the Deputy Editor at Cabana, the leading interiors publication based in Milan. In 2021, Miguel was honored as an Honorary Fellow by the Sir John Soane’s Museum Foundation, recognizing his photographic work that resonates 'with deep sympathy for history and a keen sensitivity to color, pattern, and light.'
